throne

Walking towards the throne, my vision is covered by a coat of light.
A voice booming like thunder spoked.
Even with hands upon my ears, the voice is clear as crystal.
"Welcome home my child. Let us break some bread, drink some wine and be merry!"

My child? Was that voice refering to me?
"Yes my child. Now come, let us be merry!"

What? Did i even spoke? He heard my thoughts!
"My child, how long must you keep your father waiting?"

My father? Wait, where am i? How did i even get to this place?
"You have walked the narrow road, fought many temptation to get to this place that you desire to be with me. Do you not remember?"

Why is there another throne but vacant on the right? Is it for me?
"No my child, That throne is only empty for the time being. He only decented back down a second time to round up the remainding flocks."
